H&H Consulting was established in 2007 as private consulting company. It is registered in Pakistan under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 (XLVII of 1984). It brings together a diverse pool of experts and young professionals who work together to provide high quality and innovative solutions to our clients in public, private and development sectors. We draw on the best practices in each sector and combine them with the cutting-edge knowledge to provide innovative solutions that help improve the effectiveness, efficiency and impact of our clients in the public, private and development sectors.

The philosophy that underpins our work is as follows:

• Issues of international development are complex and often intersect many disciplines, and sometimes even transcend geographical boundaries. Therefore, any response to these issues should be informed by multi-disciplinary perspectives.
• Boundaries between private, public and voluntary sectors are increasingly getting blurred, underlining the need for mutual understanding and unified response from the three actors.
• Need for “participatory approach” should not be viewed as a sole domain of voluntary sector. It is as relevant for public and private sector initiatives as it is for voluntary sector organizations.
• Public, private and voluntary sectors can learn a great deal from each other e.g. private sector can learn from NGOs about environmental sustainability, while NGOs and public sector organizations can learn about efficiency and service orientation from the private sector.
• Successful initiatives can be scaled up by building partnerships among public, private and voluntary sectors, and also between different organizations from the same sector.

Our team includes a large pool of senior, mid-level, and young professionals with expertise in different sectors such as Economic Development, Education, Health, Climate Change, Protection, and WASH. They also include specialists in disciplines which cross-cut different sectors such as strategic management, policy development, institutional development, gender mainstreaming, evaluation and impact assessment, grant writing and communication.

Our team consists of nationals from Pakistan and Afghanistan with foreign qualifications, as well as expatriates with longstanding experience of working Pakistan and Afghanistan. They include professionals who have spent many years working directly with the communities, and experienced researchers with many publications to their credit.

We form project teams based on the nature of the assignment. We e prefer to form multi-disciplinary teams so that diverse experience of team members can bear on the issues at hand.
